Aurelia aurita. Professional work. 10Tons

For this project i made 3 different stages of Aurelia aurita in motion. These stages where then printed, assembled (mouth, gonades and base) and cast in different sizes to make up an impressive jelly bloom with over 200 individuals.
They are displayed at Phyletisches Museum in Jena, Germany, for their Ernst Haeckel tribute exhibition.
The rest of the 10Tons crew together with Bernhard Bock from the museum, carried out the major workload of producing the many jellies.

Here is a few renders of the 3D model.
